I used a CBR cooler with 2 qt capacity and 3 SPAL fans. -10 fittings. I thought the oil thermostat was essential to keep oil from getting too cold. Oil is sent to cooler when it's hot and flow to cooler stops when at set temp.
I can't remember off hand the open close of the Earl's thermo but when I ordered it there were options and I chose one that would keep the oil hot enough to cook off water and Diesel. The fans are controlled by thermo switch online with output from Earls.
Wires are just draped for now and they'll be run later.
The system I designed allows oil filter changes with no removal of anything. PDD designed the combo system around the same idea.
All hoses push lock Parker 836 -10 with clamps.
I filled the cooler with oil before hooking up highest line.

Oil cooler thermostat
Went with Earl's. In the included npt ports I installed the SPAL fan controller sensor, the pressure sender for my after market pressure gauge, and the temp sender for my temp gauge. All lines are -10 or 5/8.

What worried me about that was any knowledge of the FSS and it can be tied up easily.
The attitude on the other hand is rare enough that most wouldn't know it at all.

Nice, reading this thread is what sparked me pulling the trigger on my oil cooler.
My anti theft is my attitude fuel adjuster. You can turn it down where to the point it kills the fuel to the IP. So I just twist the dial inside the cab all the way down and then pop the connecting cable off the back. I was also thinking of a FSS bypass switch to totally disable the FSS from working. Still working that one out but I am thinking just splice a toggle switch inline on the power feed wire

I don't know about the run away.... If I'd trust it or not. I'd like to think a mechanical might be more trust worthy but I'm no expert.
Now, as a theft deterrent....I feel very good about that! Unless they tow it ( very possible) they're going to have a rough time bypassing the hidden starter cut and address the no fuel situation!
Both are easy to bypass, but you need knowledge and time. Hopefully........
I'm glad I didn't have to relocate my oil filter, but your setup does look amazing and addresses your situation perfectly.
I'm installing the oil cooler today and will have updates to follow.

|nSaEvAyL||I like how easily accessible all these filters are. You can tell the guys who have been doing this a while cause we all relocate our fuel and oil filters for easier maintenance. Question, would that shutoff solenoid work in a runaway situation? I wonder if you could put the solenoid right up by your IP and use it for said situation? Thoughts?|

Amazing, this build is bulging with understatement.
Fuel filtration reminds me of my old Case 680C backhoe, found another one every time I looked, 5 or 6 I think.
Good luck, I got water in my diesel field tank, could use some filters/separators.

Fuel filter system
I decided to change course and run to the pump directly from the Sump to avoid any starvation or cavitation issues.
From the pump I go to:
1. Fuel cut off solenoid. It's made in the USA and made to cut fuel in Marine applications. Large bore. It's switch will run to secret place to add additional layer of theft protection. In event of failure I can easily gut it and keep running while replacement parts ordered.
2. 100 micron mesh pre filter
3. Baldwin water separator
4. Dual CAT 2 micron filters.
5. Pressure sensor TEE
6. Dual feed injection pump lines.
All lines are Parker 836 and are 1/2"
