24May: VON 25May: VIN Customer care contacted me last week and stated it was scheduled for production the week of 10Jun. I talked with the Fleet Manager this morning and it was in trim. He suggested I call on Friday or Monday and he should have a shipping date by then. But, he kind of warned me that delivery could take up to a month. |

IMO, it's the best and most fun modification you can put on any HD truck. I'd like to talk with someone at FCA who involved in either the brake design or antilock technology. My gut tells me that putting on these brakes shouldn't mess with the antilock, but you never know. If they told me that the adding braking power wouldn't affect anything (just like putting on stickier tires), and there wasn't a warranty issue, I'd consider putting them on. I would say for $1500 I would consider it but I doubt it’s worth the $4000+! I can look into how it will jive with the slip controls system if you are actually interested. Just need to ask the right engineer if I have time tomorrow. |
