NCC74656 i have noticed on my compound setup that my coolant will rise in temp when i hammer but it comes back down with in 10 seconds or so of heavy loading. i also find i cant get full hard spool at low end unless i lock my TC. to that end i have my TC locking at about 12mph when i hit 80+% throttle and man does that change how the truck rockets. the tc lock alone adds a good 25psi of boost on top of what ever im at and then as the rpm's go back up the boost climes up and then gets another spike at the next shift point.

with out the TC locking the truck feels much like you are describing.

jkidd So you have upgraded valvesprings? Not a lot of power up in the higher rpm on a vp44 truck.

Nick was able to get QZ adrenaline to fuel to over 3700 rpm (data log showed continued fuel delivery)

Bivensz Also I've noticed, after a pull the engine temp goes up farther than normal operating temp. Usually stays right below half way mark and I'll do a pull and it'll go past the half mark and cool back down within a minute or so. Is that a sign of a head gasket leaking.? Doesnt leak any around the truck but wont stay 100% full of antifreeze. It's down an inch or 2 in the radiator.

Bivensz Got the turbo on, it runs pretty good but I'm still not happy with it. It comes on hard around 1900-2100. Sees 45-50 psi. It feels like it falls off on top end. Right before it shifts. It does clean the 250hp injectors up pretty decent. I'm thinking I may have a small boost leak somewhere.

jkidd Sounds good. Hope you will enjoy the extra air and potential for power.

Bivensz Havent been able to put it on yet. Truck will be back sometime this week from the transmission shop. As soon as I get it on I'll let you know.

jkidd How is the turbo working for you?

Bivensz Appreciate the info. Ended up ordering a 64.5/73/14 non gated. Going to do external gate later on if needed with nitrous. Dont have enough fuel to over spool the 64.5/73 without a gate right now

marco610 It's best to not run a t4 adapter, it's better to go with a t4 manifold if you're going that route. Imo t3 gated would still be a better choice, only time I would run t4 is if I was going with a s400.

jkidd It would spool close to 1900-2200 depending on elevation, tire size, axle ratio, torque converter (depends on how tight--- you want a loose converter.)

A gated 14cm should spool faster and flow more once the gates are open.

We sell a divided T4 Gated with HX40 outlet, its about the same price as the T3 gated.

Custom tuning from the Quadzilla Adrenaline will help too.

Bivensz Non gated housing as well

Big single.

How would a 64.5/73/.83 divided t4 sxe spool? 250hp injectors. So pump. Edge hot comp. Built auto. 2100 stall. Goal is 600-650 on fuel.
