Only thing I need to figure out is how to get the service 4wd light off the dash since a swapped in a manual shift case np271. Light goes away if I plug the old electronic actuator in but it is kinda big to just leave plugged in thereís no where to tie it up or mount it really. Need to figure out which wires to jump on the plug
You need to create a voltage divider to simulate the 2wd voltage signal on pins 1, 2, and 3 on the connector. (pins 4 and 5 are motor power). I have a simulator with OEM connector for sale if your interested.

The service 4wd light will not go off simply with a flash. The TIPM (and TCCM) will always think it's an auto truck, and the dealer can only flash by VIN, and VIN will always say it's an auto. So you're kinda stuck there. Only way is to trick it into thinking the resistance on the sensor signal wire is within the ranges of 2wd, 4wd, neu, or 4lo (non of those have a 0V in range)

How much did it cost you to do this swap?

Codylee0922 I wonder if the mini maxx will do the same? Return to stock and then select manual?

95-dodgecummins Looks like it shouldn’t be an issue. I plugged the H&S in, attempted to “return to stock” and it asked me if transmission is manual or automatic. I did not flash it just yet, I will wait until I do the swap and let you guys know how it goes in case anyone else ever has the same concern. Thanks

Nuge I believe the dealer can put a manual file in your truck as well , If I'm wrong please someone chime in .

If you have the XRT Pro, why don't you return to stock and then reload your tune and see if it give you the option to select manual or auto?

trevdogg67 Ok bummer then. Ya you may need to step up to EFI live or smarty then.

95-dodgecummins They are out of business I don’t think there is anybody to contact about tuning files

trevdogg67 Why donít you call or email H&S?

95-dodgecummins From what I understand under the initial setup of the H&S you choose between auto and manual. Anybody recall it giving this option if I was to return to stock and then load a file back on?
