|gun32gtr||So quick update:- I FORGOT TO PUT THE T/O BEARING LOCATING SLEEVE BACK IN WHEN I REPLACED INPUT SHAFT SEAL.. Feel like a dumb a$$|

|gun32gtr||DRIVE I.D? yeaqh from memory i think it is a diaphram setup as its not adjustable as far as im aware.. clutch feels fine|

Have you checked the drive id bolted up correctly? Clutch pressure plate sounds like a diaphragm so should not be much wrong there.

|gun32gtr||I think I'll shorten the rod length in the slave a little bit at a time and see what happens. I'm not having another clutch have dramas. If it does it again I'll be pulling the box again. Although the clutch feels good but i just cant imagine what it could be...|

Does the pressure plate have fingers or diaphragm type?
If fingers does it have adjusters on the fingers?

So finally got to installing the new full ceramic south bend clutch today. Feels alot better in the pedal than the last clutch. Slot heavier under good. I've only driven 10 or 15kms and after getting it.upto 100kms an hour nice and easily just mild throttle it all of a sudden had a wicked vibration that was noticeable by feel and by noise through the clutch pedal. So I turned around and drove it home. Got under the Ute and the slave cylinder was vibrating alot. I pulled it out and noticed if I out my finger on the fork and pushed it a little it wanted to bounce up and down nearly. Like something wasn't right. I put the slave back in and it wasn't as bad until i got my mechanic cousin to.push on the pedal and it came back but not as bad. It seems like the clutch fork isn't right. Southbend suplied it with the clutch kit and it was welded along where they are known to break. But nothing where the throughout bearing goes was different so cant be that I'd hope, and the through out and pilot bearing are both brand new also supplied by SB? Can full ceramic button clutches have this issue or has something gone wrong.
It's driving me crazy the problems I'm having with clutch setups. Surely I cant be the only 1.
