That is just begging for DW and handling issues.

jroyster06 I just threw on some Nittos, They are a 128 load rating (Not sure if its size dependent), Load range F I think. SUPER QUIET on the road... LOOK like an MT perform like an AT. NOT the best in mud, (Not tested, just have been told) If your not off roading for fun or daily, the MT isn't needed. Thats what I like about the Nittos, gives the aggressive meaty profile but ride like a mini van

Wyomingite Looking to buy the same tires. My truck, being a Ď12, came from the factory with 17Ē tires rated for 3195. Same as the toyos. Thinking they will be ok, but with pulling a 5th wheel I am thinking of stepping up to a 125....sucks that toyo lists them as 1/2Ē narrower and a bit shorter though

firemansdiesel Load range does not mean as much as the load index rating for max LB rating with truck capability of load/towing from factory.

Most 18” tires are in our truck rating with few select 20” tires. There’s only one 17” tire that meets it and that’s the Toyo Open Country MT 35” tire.

Cummins_Michael Thanks for the reply. That's good to know. I thought all E rated tires were made equally.

firemansdiesel You can run them without issue, but most tire shops will refuse to sell or mount them. Since it does not meet the factory load index rating of 124+. Atleast with my experience in my area.
