There's a lot of truth to that. Can you tell much of a difference between the premium seats in your Longhorn vs the seats in your Laramie? I've heard people say if you put in a lot of seat time, the premium seats are the way to go.

Meh not really to be honest. Itís the same bolstering, cushions and size, itís just the leather thatís different.
If you took the 1500 seats and through them in the mega it would feel the same in my opinion.

Interesting. I guess you'll see how each holdup as time goes on. I was wondering if the seat cushions were the same. Memory foam is used on the Longhorn, but from what you're saying, the entire Laramie/Limited line probably has memory foam. As you stated, the difference would be in the leather. I assume the leather is a little softer on the higher trim packages?

In higher trims itís real leather the stuff is just fake which makes it easier to repair or replace I suppose

The rumor is that the new Ecodiesel has the Bosch edc17 tricore ECU, which means it is easily readable and writeable with ktag. GDE will have full accessibility to write whatever tune they want, with lots of cool features, and be able to have it released to the public pretty quick. Since this is a new engine (80 % of the parts replaced), it will take GDE some time to do testing. But since they have a great deal of experience with Ram/Jeep diesel tuning, this should be pretty easy for them.

This big questions is, do I get the Ecodiesel first or the Cummins first.

Also, it was leaked today that the new Gladiator Ecodiesel will be released in February of 2020! FCA has so much winning going on.

Ha! I'm not much for fish, but the rest and relaxation sounds good. The only fish frys I had growing up were catfish frys.

May just be me, but I'd like to get one of those. Delete, swap the turbo with a 15-20psi procharger and tune. I bet you could make that little 3 liter a beast.

Deleting makes since for a variety of reasons. The current GDE tuned Ecodiesel will achieve 30 mpg with OE sized tires, plus there's a nice bump in horsepower and torque. From the sound of it, the new 2020 Ecodiesel will be EPA rated at 30 mpg. Once tuned, it will most likely achieve 32 mpg.

There will be several aftermarket turbos available for the new Gen III Ecodiesel. And I agree with you, it will be a great little engine.
