I've taken care of the clutch with a Haisley street puller
Hopefully we won't be having to change any clutches out next time
And no it wasn't mine, but I had a brand new SB FE with me that we put in a buddies truck to get him home. He now has a dual disk also

I was talking about smoking your clutch, Paul was the one that broke the center out correct? I don't sled pull enough to justify a twin disk, you guys have a ton more pulls up in that neck of the woods.

Yes it was Paul, it broke one of the straps on the pressure plate and that was what caused all the noise, it beating at the inside of the bell housing. It also cracked the friction contact surface of the pressure plate
If a half dozen pulls is a ton more than what you have I'm sorry for you.

Yeah we had Burley, Rupert, Jerome, Pocatello, Blackfoot, Preston, Malad, and a few in Utah. I would like to see more in like Twin Falls, Moutain Home and Boise area. Maybe a drag race at Firebird too.

I'll send you a copy as soon as we get it put together. One from Rocky Mountain Pullers and one from United Pullers. They both battle for all the pulls (and pullers) around here! I dont care a pull is a pull to me!:jump:

Official NHRDA update

[quote name='HOSS' date='Mar 2 2006, 08:21 PM' post='282797']
In case you do not already know due to circumstances beyond our control the sled pull at the Bullydog event on July 22nd has been cancelled the cancelation of this event was not planned and had nothing to due with the NHRDA. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. The NHRDA will in the future be sure that the events on the schedule are booked and solid before posting them to avoid any future problems. We do not have a replacement pull for this. Again I appologize.
