Need towing advise 97 3500 Cummins 12V

My engine is all stock with 295,000 miles. 3.55 gears. 3 pod gauges. I have the transmission built with a triple clutch low stall converter etc. I removed the fuel plate from the pump. I tow a 5th wheel camper that weighs somewhere around 16,000 pounds. The Pyrometer gets up in the 1,200 and over if I would let it.
What mods should I consider that will help with more power without killing fuel mileage?

97 Dodge 3500 extended cab. Stock 12 valve with fuel plate removed. KDP killed. Triple clutch torque converter and transmission rebuild. 270,000 miles and climbing!
