purchase a wrecked truck

Looking to purchase a wrecked/totaled/rebuildable truck in the next year or so. The girlfriend and I have remodeled the house and are looking for another fun project to do together, she's obviously a keeper because she told me to look for a 4th gen mega cab g56.

Has anyone rebuilt a wrecked truck before? if so then whose auction site did you use? looked around Erepairable.com and Copart.com but didn't know if anyone has experience in this area?

I'm curious also about Copart. I visited their website before and there are lots of stuff that can be a good project.

Copart’s closing prices have gone thru the roof around here for totaled / repairable insurance vehicles thanks to every Tom, , and Harry starting an “I bought this wrecked million dollar car for ten bucks” YouTube channel. And I swear it seems like their quality has gone down. Seems like complete vehicles and the less completely destroyed stuff they’re concentrating only in the major markets. Folks on CL and eBay have always been drunk I think when they list their “everything is a unicorn” for top end retail perfect price when it’s usually far from even average...

You may luck out if you tell them you have a YouTube channel. And maybe they’ll sponsor you for free parts like Hoovie gets or half price cars like Samcrac gets.
