Cummins won't even notice it IMO.
the 6.7 is used world wide in everything its not going anywhere
where do you "need" to go 1000 ft/lbs now
IMO the way the computer produces power application, and the way people use their trucks, the engine probably never produces 1000 ft/lbs torque. It is never needed.

FCA should be focusing on improving reliability, braking and fit and finish.
1000 ft/lbs sells trucks these days I guess.

I passed on the titan XD because I couldnt put my vplow on it. Like everyone else said 3/4 ton diesel nissan in a half ton package and people would have been sold, but you couldnt do any thing 3/4 ton trucks do except get poor gas mileage

I never could understand why Cummins considered selling to Nissan when they don't sell enough trucks a year to fill a Walmart parking lot. They sold just over 50K trucks last year total and don't report how many of those were diesel.

Interesting but awesome combination in a truck is the Ford F-750 with a Cummins mated to an Allison transmission.

This was common in the Duke Energy vehicles.

Supposedly there is an Allison 1000 that will mount right up to our Cummins which would be and incredible match.
