Rewire chassis electronics separate from engine.

06 2500 megacab 5.9, do to the TIPM electrical problem with these things and reliablity I wanting to rewire all the cab electronics separate from engine computer.. All lights, windows , turn signals ect will be hooked up to switch panel , fuses on the panel, simple and reliable. How would I separate the engine computer so it is stand alone . Basically like how people are swapping these engines into a different pickup. Thank you.

Cole,

I feel your pain, I did a Lil Pete conversion & I have similar ideas. I started with the hard copy wiring diagram but I ran into trouble. I need to find a qualified electric guru to help me as well. Have you had any luck?

No would nice to find way to do it , alot of my problems came from old remote starter that dealer installed when pickup was new . I went and removed that and spliced wires back together and about all the problems went away for now.

think about the problems had with just the remote starter splicing then imagine every system spliced... as non-ideal as the TIPM is, I think extending it that way is asking for more trouble than you started with
