What year did you get your first CTD? I took delivery of my first Dually in September 1989 as a 1990 model

I bought my first one in Dec 2010. It was a 2011 crew cab 3500 dually 2wd auto. I put 110k miles on it and had all I could stand so I got the 2002 in my sig and now I'm on the hunt for an 04.5-07.

Took delivery of my first CTD the spring of 2000 as a 2001 model. 2500 CCSB 4x4.

I remember walking through a fair in Denver and walked by this dude from 5R trucks that had Edge Products. I asked him what that box did. That started the sickness.

Sold that truck in 2005 when I ordered the current ride.

I plan on ordering a 2013 in the spring.

Bought my 07 5.9 last February after my 05 Hemi was totaled. I was stationed in New Orleans at the time and I could not find a single 4WD CTD anywhere within about 400 miles that was stock and had the options/color I wanted. I found the exact truck I was looking for in New York and had it shipped down to New Orleans and have loved it ever since

My baby and I are going to be together for 5 years on October 9th. I'm going to buy her some suspension parts for our Anniversary. I even paid her off 15 months early.

I bought mine brand spanking new on ebay and had it shipped from Steve White Motors in North Carolina in August of 2003. It has been in my garage since I received it and I only use it to tow my boats. Since the boats live at my place In Nevada, I rarely use the truck. It now has 32,000 miles and does not have a mark or single scratch on it, it is in showroom condition. I have a neighbor that is always trying to buy it from me, LOL! I will never sell that truck!

^^^^^^^I hope you start it and let her run for a few minutes a couple times a week!

To the original question of the first CTD about 1978.
I had a shop in Long Beach and got it as a basket case from a steel yard.
It has served me well.
Still have it but license and insurance makes it cheaper to have my equipment hauled.

855 cu in (14.0 L) Cummins Turbo Diesel in an International Semi.

Got the '95 Dodge Dually CTD about a year ago.
Sounds and feels a lot like the big Cummins.

My first was this 2010 Rugged brown 4x4. The funny thing was i wasnt trying to buy a new one but the used lot could not answer my questions or give me a real price on the 07 i looked at. i bought mine from the same dealer i bought my wife's van at the same day. Then i called the the used lot, spoke to the owner who informed me the salesman i dealt with was already fired.

Well as far as a Dodge Diesel Truck,I bought a 1978 W150,4spd stick, short bed style side with a Mitsubishi inline 6cyl diesel naturally aspirated engine, in 1984. Ran it until 1992 when I purchased my 1991.5 Dodge LE,Reg Cab, W350,SRW,CITD,Dana60 in the front,Dana 70 in the rear,3.54 gears,5spd manual shift trans. I still drive it everyday with 440,000 miles on it,it was the best investment I ever made. I put one transfer pump,3 water pumps and one starter on it in the 20 years I have owned it. I won't mention the normal service parts that need replacement over the years.
Then in Jan. of 2008 I bought a new left over 2007.5 Dodge 2500HD,SLT, Reg cab, 6.7CTD,6SPD manual shift trans,3.73 Gears, still in stock configuration as I have 5 months of warranty left on it. I purchased this Dodge Truck as being the last I will ever buy. I use it for long trips hauling hay and equipment and use my 1991.5 as my daily driver.
