The only way I'd do a 26x16 is with a 12 inch wide tire and a Carolina squat. I'd be swimming in kitty.

It doesnít mention the accumulator plate though, so not sure if this would do it? How hard would it be for a mechanically inclined auto trans novice to instal?
I like the last line of the descrption:
"A "fresh" stock transmission will have the ability to handle up to 400hp-450hp"

Considering they have 370 stock you're good for a whopping 30-80 HP more, wow!

Right? You pay a couple of thousand to get an extra 30hp! Iím seriously concerned by the potential cost of ownership going into the ďout of warrantyĒ phase. For the cost of a ďbuiltĒ tranny, you can buy a pretty nice 1st Gen!

Don’t believe the hype. There is lots of people with hundreds of thousands miles on a stock trans without issues and deleted. All depends on your right foot. People don’t post to say they don’t have issues. So these forums and FB groups are not the real world.

If you want to beef up your trans for cheep it can be done. Is it needed 🤷‍♂️ you decide.

So you're saying James has a heavy right foot then since his tranny screwed up with stock power?

Nope you said that. I said don’t believe the hype that you are spreading.

Stuff does fail even stock. Even the mighty seeming bullet proof Cummins engine fails when it’s completely stock.

I'm not 'spreading' anything, but I bet James is having second thoughts!

No second thoughts here. I am however looking at having my extended warranty extended. I will do a cost benefit analysis on that. My friend who I bought the truck through is still in the business and will give me it at cost.

Do I have a heavy foot? Well, itís not light, but I donít do anything that could remotely be considered abusive. If Iím empty and running around do I enjoy all (most?) that Dodge and Cummins put under my hood? Absolutely, but only in T/H with it locked out into 4th, and I roll into the power instead of hammering on it. Iím fairly sure these things are tuned light so they donít blow up all the time.

Now that Iím older, and on the verge of warranty expiring, and have a convertible to drive for fun (donít worry, it still has two drive shafts), I will be a bit easier on the truck in hopes that this is a fix it for good scenario, and it holds together. I will eventually delete, but the truck runs so well as is, I am going to wait until cost of deletes vs repairing stock is more rewarding.

Local dealer confirmed no more sticks for the 19's, he was really excited about the new 8 spd auto coming out, anyone know who makes it?
