Amsoil fuel additive

it seems even Amsoil has acknowledged that us truckers are using 2so in our fuel to help boost the ultra low Sulphur fuels lubrication abilities. They have come out with their own line of additives.

You mean those? They've had those additives out for a long time. About 2 months ago I switched off of 2so and tried that, gathering some trending data to see if its any better.

Did you get tired of changing water pumps on your light duty pickup and get an 18-wheeler?

Maybe if we start telling people that the brain is an app, they will start using it?

So Gator what ya think, gonna run it?

Positive impressions so far, I'm only 3 and 1/2 tanks into it so not enough data to say if it was +0.01 MPG or -0.01 MPG difference But I can say:

- A lot less smoke especially at low RPMs when engaging the clutch
- Consistent seat of pants improvement on third tank, in throttle response
- A touch smoother when cold

I ran a full bottle on the first two tanks and have been running just under 1/2 bottle since.

Is this data in comparison to running 2 stroke prior to Amsoil additive?

I'm also interested to see Amsoils data sheet reveal that running 200:1 ratio 2 stroke has positive results...

yep, 1 full quart per tank. I was more like a 120:1 or 100:1 ratio haha.
