Where do we mount switches?!

I have a few goodies in the works did my 2008 2500, and I need to mount 2-3 carling v series switches.

WHERE?! I want it clean out of the way, but within reach.

Switches are like this

Mounting switch hole 1.45Ē x 0.85Ē
Switch itself is slightly larger.

I canít find any really great place. Knee bolster panel was tempting but I donít want them this low.

Slightly above there where the panel changes angle maybe. But thereís a bunch of stuff behind the panel up there

Other possible option is on the overhead console. But thatís a pain with all the wires.

Any ideas? I have this style interior.

Believe it or not, I accidentally discovered the Dodge secret a few months ago. They made the cubby under the heater controls the *exact* height of those type of rocker switch! Take out the rubber mat and they snap right in.....

Unfortunately right under that is where my exhaust brake and window slider buttons are. However. I could remove the light load button, and maybe drop them in there
