Clutch pedals

I am thinking of converting my automatic 1998 12 valve to a 5 speed nv4500. Would I use a clutch assembly from a 94-97 or a 98.5-2002? Does it really matter or are there differences?

Let me know thanks!

You can also convert your 4spd auto to a 6spd auto from s 4th gen ram.
Would have way better gear ratios than the nv4500.

The easiest way for you to deal with your dilemma is to order the hydraulics or look at the hydraulics for your year of truck. 94-97 have a diamond shaped hole for the clutch hydraulics to pass through and 98-02 is circular
Your current pedal box can be converted to a manual box once you confim which shape hydraulics window you have hope this helps
