Please excuse the newbie

Finally switched over to the dark side. Coming from a powerstroke. I recently purchased a ming 01 with only 100k miles. I like knowing the ins and out of everything. I'll attach a photo of something I've been wondering. What's the void sticker for?

your VP pump has been replaced...
one mod for these trucks is a WIRETAP fueling box...if that cover is ever removed, it lets the warranter know you tampered with it.

Seems like mine said "Void if Removed" and it was across the big plug in....main plug to the original injector pump.

So because it says "Void" only are you suggesting it's a new vp as well?

it could be a factory sticker....but i have never seen that done by the factory. Only on aftermarket electronics.

what lift pump does it have, the fuel line says something has been changed.

the stock VP was notorious for dieing from overheated solider loosing connection and shorting out.

the bad is, if it is a stocker and you daily drive it short spurts and shut down...the vp gets heat soaked and tjat kills thesolider on the boards.

replacements rarely have that issue due to better solider being used.

1 recommendation...look into a relocation kit, and move it to the frame.
