Timing issue with quadzilla

I’ve had this problem for 3 months now when I decelerate my truck makes a knocking noise from 1800-1200 rpm the timing is at 19* there to about 18* the fuel tap when I decelerate is 0 On the quad and I can’t figure out if this is causing the knock or not.

58/65/14 turbo, 5in exhaust, 150dap injectors, quadzilla, hot rod vp44, sb cold air Intake, bd exhaust manifold, big ram Intake manifold, head studs, dual disk clutch, fass 165

no not at all or like if I’m coming onto a car slowly and I have to let off the throttle around those rpms it will make the noise almost like knocking

No throttle means the quad isnt altering fueling and timing.

so when I am around those rpm and are decelerating with no throttle the timing isn’t at 19*? Becusse my truck seems to make the noise in that rpm range when there is no throttle so could it be fuel knock or?

The quad will display the current timing to the pump,

but if TPS = 0% then the quadzilla is not sending fueling and timing messages. At 0% tps the fueling and timing commands are %100 oem commands.

It might be knock, but it has nothing to do with the quad.

Already changed the injectors to brand new dap 150s and the problem still persists

I’m new to these engines, I’m assuming that knock is bad when it comes the diesels like on gas vehicles. The truck builds boost all the way up to 40psi and the oil pressure hasn’t moved at all. Would knock cause any of this to not be true ?

Unplug the quadzilla see if it goes away or changes the knock, wouldnt be the first time a aftermarket part caused bizzare issues.i had a smarty cause my torque converter to hunt for lock up just by it being plugged in the obd port.
