Update Quad now or wait a bit?

My ADR1000 is still the way it came from factory many years ago.I have a I quad bt ,but I haven't hooked it up yet because I thought I'd wait till V2 testing was ironed out.
I'm not very good with computers so I want to send my Adrenalin to Quad to have it updated but not sure if all the bugs and improvements have been completed.
Should I send it in now or wait a bit longer?

Give it another couple weeks There might be 1 more update no more bugs I am aware of, but a pretty good feature I have been working on.

I don't know if the lastest feature will make the cut or not. I am going to talk to Quad after the new years and we will see.

It is a much better way to have user defined timing control across the rpm range rather than just a max timing. There is nothing really wrong with the max timing way of doing it, but more user control is always better.

So current quad adr can be upgraded/updated to run the new V2 stuff? I thought it was a totally different unit

Nope, any ADR can run the New tuning, provided you have the Iquad setup. you can't use the PV screens ask they are no longer feasible to upgrade.

Cheap upgrade to swap out the PV screen for the iQuad module. I would go for the upgrade myself. I would opt for a dedicated tablet or device for the tuner if your going to use it for your gauges. Still personally, I would opt for normal analog gauges over digital display of the iQuad app. 90% of the time I don't even bother to fire up the iQuad app on my phone.

We are testing out the latest and greatest updates now and they do look promising. It is really looking pretty good. Wait just a couple of weeks and we can get it all perfect for you.

Also, there isn't really a reason to delay hooking up your iQuadBT. There is a vehicle profile for the old style tuning and a different vehicle profile for the new style tuning. You can run the old style tuning and then when you get the upgrade to the software, update to the new vehicle profile.

It would be great if a better virtual gauge display could be created.
I had hoped to use the iQuad gauges instead of analogs but the virtual dials have no numbers and the digital readouts are too tiny for reading while driving.

That's why I use the 10 gauge screen

You'd be surpised how quickly you will remember where each gauge is.

left is temps, top is fueling, right is fluid pressures and throttle position, middle is egt.

Is that the android BT? I got the iQuad and your numbers look bigger and your virtual dial has numbers, mine doesn't.
