Runs and tires

I have an 01 and I want to put some American racing rims and 33” tires on it. Anybody know what size Rim I should be looking for. I narrow it down then they ask what size hub it is. I have no clue. Any help is appreciated

I do not know. But you should buy from a reputable site shop that would know what you need.

99 2500, Quad cab, 4x4 47RE, BD pressure lock on it, small BD 90/140 chip on the VP 44 connection plug, 17" 3rd gen wheels. 3.55 diffs. Ruenell front bumper and warn winch, Rancho adj shocks. 663k miles.

Usually with aftermarket wheels they make the hub opening large enough to fit all the major brands. As long the lug nut spacing and rim diameter are correct, the hub opening is usually a moot point. If you were going with OEM wheels from another brand of truck, then I would be concerned about the hub diameter. For example, most fords had a larger rear axle hub so you could bolt ford wheels on a ram, but could not put ram wheels on a ford.

2001 Ram QC SLT 4X4 5.9/AT(Built) BHAF, Pusher, FASS150, 4" DP, 5" Aussies, built transmission, GS gauges, steering brace, EJWA-CTS2, BD Stealth cover, turnbuckle mod, Fire Truck horn, 4th gen tow mirrors, 3rd gen brakes, switchbacks, high/3cyl switch.

They factory says the wheels are hub centric but I think(personal belief only) the as long as the wheel nuts are tapered factory lug nuts the lug nuts will center them fine. Others strongly disagree.
