98.5-02 High idle

I have a 2002 dodge 3500 with the 24v cummins H.O. and a 6spd trans, 3.55 rears. Afew things done to it. Im really wanting to get a high idle switch/kit for it. It does not have factory high idle enabled and i called the local dealer over a year ago and i cant exactly remember their words but basically told me that they cant do it. I should maybe call them again just to make sure. What do you guys recommend for me to do?

DAP rents a smarty and had the high idle kits in stock a couple weeks ago. Thats what i did. Mopar1973man is out of stock on the switches and said they're not making more now. I suggest getting ahold of DAP quickly.

https://mopar1973man.com/ will have what you need. Or...a stick/piece of PVC like some of us high tech peeps use.

I had the same problem with my local stealership with my 98.5. Showed them the TSB( yes there is a TSB and they refused to read it) so in my travels I did find one that had a older tech and he did it. After I got mine done I went back and there quote diesel specialist came out and I demo it with moparmans switch he was amazed and he said he had never heard that and said that his 2nd gen doesnt do that Great training there and they will never see my truck again!!!!!
