DOOR ACTUATOR for Heat/AC

When I bought my truck the A/C door actuator was missing. No big deal, just reach under and do it by hand. So I was looking to order a replacement, cannot find them under $130.00. ANY other year they are $14-$28.00.
$132.00 for a >$30.00 part? Is there another way? I guess I am going to hit the junk yards. Fricken Ebay is selling one for $100.00 used. No guarantee it works either.

I was at the yard and every one was gone. Same strategy, cut carpet, padding & remove. Ask the parts desk whether they fit any other models.

2000 LWB, Quad Cab, 4x4, NV4500, AirDog, Gauges, Thuren Track Bar, Lost crappy AGR and A1-Cardone steering boxes. RedHead is the best so far but truck has stopped returning to center. Hopefully, I'll get to it soon.

You will have to be more specific. There are three doors and actuators, 2 vacuum and one electric. Blend door in middle bottom. Vent/defrost door left end of box at top behind radio, and re-circulation door by right pass foot.

99 2500, Quad cab, 4x4 47RE, BD pressure lock on it, small BD 90/140 chip on the VP 44 connection plug, 17" 3rd gen wheels. 3.55 diffs. Ruenell front bumper and warn winch, Rancho adj shocks. 663k miles.

Looks like Dorman and others have quit making it is the problem. Are you sure it is the actuator and not the connector. Broken plastic connector to it is a common problem. Heater Treater is good replacement.

No the actuator is missing, gone, AWOL. I was hoping to find one cheaper but I guess I will have to bite the bullet.

I emailed HeaterTreater but they never responded back.

Oh well it was worth a shot anyway.

I would go to pick and pull and take a 90 degree screwdriver of some kind. the connector is(was) also available in the original plastic version, maybe Dorman too. Any ram for several years should work.
