Ouch! If the cam looks like that the block cant be any better. Ive also heard of people line boring and putting cam bearings in.

This should work. Take it apart and send it all off to a good engine machine shop. They will tell you if a new block is warranted. Good luck & please, no more port-a-powers under the hood.

The block looked to be fine. I cleaned it up very well. Got a new cam and lubed the hell outta it. New cam bearing and it felt very very tight. No resistance when rotating it in. Hopefully i get another 300thou out of it ?? 😁

THis thing running yet? Curious to know how you made out.

Bought 100% stock, 3500. QCSB. 6spd. 35's w/revtek 2.5" leveling kit, AFE stage 2 w/intake elbow in 4" turbo-back MBRP.
