Orange wire at battery?

1994 Dodge 2500, Cummins, Automatic. I just noticed a wire broken away from the drivers side positive battery terminal. I haven't noticed anything wrong, but what is it? It goes into a jacket, and it got too dark to track it down.

Thanks

might be for the grid heaters, or is could be for something aftermarket. I think the wire for the pull on the fuel shut-off solenoid is blue if its stock
How does it start in the morning?

Starts great, maybe even too good. I have noticed the very fast starts lately, but it is over 70 degrees at startup time.
