dana70

do you guys think that a dana 70 would stand up too a cummins with the nv4500 behind it? i know in transfer cases they aren't the same because of the cushioning affect of the torque converter? the truck would be running under 400 hp so its not like it is putting up with too much. thanks!

i guess if the dana 70 can handle over 600 hp on an auto why cant it handle 400 on a manual.

oh yea. they come with a dana 70/80 hybrid in the manuals. well at least my years they did. its a pretty much bulletproof axle. u snap that u have some serious power

i am also taking into the fact that i will be towing some heavy loads. i guess just a bigger pan on it and don't fool around to much with a heavy load on.
