Question Got a Cylinder Head Today.

It came off a 96 3500 ram. Every thing seems good on it. It came with the injectors and valve train. All for $250.
How do Identify what injectors or what horse rating they are? I have them out and see numbers written on them.

ndurbin, I'm in the same situation with a set of injectors. They're BOSCH injectors, number on the tip is 7782. Any idea of what they are?

Sorry for stealing the thread.

7782?.............wow...........how many holes are there in the tip?

Just for referrance 180s are 6814 and 215s are 6816
PDR's 370s would have tip number 5969

You can also take the number off the body and call a local Bosch shop to see what they are. Tho this may not be accurate if some has swapped tips out.

make sure the inectors have not been messed up. alot of the times when they pull a head and leave the injectors in they screw them up.

ndurbin, there are four holes in the tip.

I tried calling a bunch of shops, but none could give me an answer.

Well the number of holes tells me it's an tip designed for an automotive application. Marine injectors will have 5 holes.
