No 2nd gear on culumn shifter 47re

-Hello, I have been searching Hi and low and can't find info on this particular Issue. Started 2 weeks ago: No 2nd gear with column shifter.
shifting manually 1 to 2 , stays in 1, until D, then will shift fine, 1234. Downshifting from D to 2 will shift into first, and stay in first. Used to work until 2 weeks ago. Other than that, it shifts perfectly.( The TPS also went out the same day the issue started, ((random lock up and unlock)) but that is no longer an issue.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not having 2nd gear manual would be a valve body issue. Or in the linkage.

Do you do a lot of manual shifting?

Factory service manual (see the sticky at the top of the forum for a link to download a free copy) or ATSG manual are your best sources of info.
