hesitation @ 1200-1500 94 12v

I advanced the timing to 17.5 degree and after that is when i started to notice the problem, but very faint. After i installed 100 horse injectors it got a lot worse. It makes a whop whop sound and will shake the truck. At 1500 rpm and up runs great. It idles and starts just fine. What should the timing be on my truck. Stock turbo.

It's only been posted about a thousand times that increasing timing increases turbo lag. It has also been posted numerous times that the term "100 horse injectors" means nothing. Does the engine now only produce 100 HP? Or a 100 HP more? More than what? A 160 engine, a 180 engine or a 215 engine? Your timing should be set where you get the best performance for your engine, the RPM and the driving style you normally use. For me it is 15.
