Stripped out preboost screw

Just yesterday installed new injectors and started tuning this evening after work on my way home.
Overtightened the nut on the preboost screw and stripped out the threads.
Besides a helicoil, does anybody have a suggestion on how to fix this? Will I need a whole new housing? If so, does anybody here have one for sale they wouldn't mind parting with?

Thinking I'll actually just tap it and put a larger screw in.
And not overtighten it.
Would there be an issue with this?

I've never done it on that exact bolt but I believe that is what I would do

1986 chevy crew cab 4x4, 160hp 12 valve, 5x14 inj., afc live, 4k gsk, rack plug, vulcan 1/2 fuel line with sump, tork tek ofv, he351cw, nv4500, 3.55 gears.

I'm pretty sure mine is stripped out as well. It is not able to work properly if it's stripped? I can't decide if I should fix it or if its ok to leave it stripped.

1998 Dodge 2500. 12 valve. Built auto stock stall. Gauges. 5x14 injectors. 3k gsk. 5 inch exhaust. Arp head studs. 16.5* of timing.

I don't see how you'd use that adjustment if it's stripped.

You have two options. You can heli-coil it, or you can tap it out to the next size. If you stay metric, the next standard size is M8x1.25 which will offer a coarser adjustment than the original M6x1. You could tap it to 5/16-24 and maintain the same adjustment, if you're okay with mixing standard and metric threads on a component.

'95 2500 ECLB 4x4, 334k and paused due to epic transformation in progress.
