Interesting. I always thought "limited slip" covered all of the differentials that will spin both axles, but still allow proper cornering...as opposed to a spool. Or in other words, I thought Posi-Traction, Sure-Grip, Truetrac, etc. were all brand names of limited slip differentials. Is that incorrect?

Not as far as I'm concerned. That is pretty much what is printed in the manual.

97 3500, 2 WD, G56, slightly bombed, 1.3 million miles with un-additized diesel fuel. Started the second million on 8/24/13
