1995 Refresh

I've had a few diesels before but haven't worked on them much. Mostly worked on 4wheelers, SxS, snowmobiles and jeeps. I bought a 1995 to work mostly for something to do.
I'm new to posting but have used a ton of good information to help me out on the project from this forum so I figured I'd share progress so far. I hope this is the right place (I did go through the engine and trans and will share progress)
Going for a stock refresh for the time being, may add some mods as time allows.
The truck is a 1995 RCLB 2500 5.9 NV4500 4x4 with 315,000. When I went to look at it the entire motor was covered in oil and had so much blow by the dipstick was held in with a bungee cord.
I'm stuck in an airport now so I'll try to keep posting if I can figure out how to add pictures.
The picture below is the only one I have before I drove it home and straight into the garage to tear into it. It's actually from the CL post.

I started with the interior. New dash cover from LMC and new carpet from some random place in the web. Old dash was mostly blue scotch and duct tape, new Dash fit perfect. Carpet not so much, but the old one was nasty so this is still better. Guess I've already exceeded my photo size quota. Once I figure that out I'll be back with more.

I didn't. I bought some 1/2" foam carpet pad and used adhesive to stick it to the back of the carpet.

I ordered a rebuild kit with the upgraded out put shaft and 5th gear nut. To my surprise 5th gear looked fine after 315k with a 5th wheel, but was no longer a press fit. Slid right off after I pulled the nut. Only needed the 3rd gear syncro but since i was in there I replaced all the main shaft syncros, detents, bearings and seals. Didn't bother with the counter shaft since the oil looked good, bearings felt fine and end play was in spec.
I haven't done anything with the t case since it functions fine and actually looks clean. It has newer looking sealant where the case splits so I know someone's been in there. Now that's it's back on the road both shaft seals leak so I'll tackle them sometime.
After the trans was back together I set it aside for a few months and and dove into the motor.
