Pulling the trigger on a hopeful 650 build. I am going for streetable performance and occasional towing. (horses, TT, Equipment). Here's a list of what's been bought and collected and work planned. Not all necessary of course, but adding mods is addictive! Also, fixing things on my to do list as I go.
-I went with PDD Ultimate Towing Compound Kit. K27 and s369. Added Kobra Kai intake horn, and Blankets, and wrapped hot pipes

-215 Pump from PDD with 7mm DV's, 4kGsk, and 20* (adjustable Ofv)
- 5x14 VCO from PDD
- Push rods from PDD
-Resurfacing and oringing head, med port and polish
-Steed Speed manifold with blanket

-Top hat valve seals
-Modded lift pump from PDD (changed to PDD predator pump)
-ARP 625 studs
-850hp Built 47RH from PDD with triple disk, 2nd lockup, Billet flexplate
-Fuel sump with 1/2 lines
-1/2 lines from lift pump to filter, Filter to Pump (2 line feed)
-banjo bolt replacement kit
-5" SS MSRP exhaust, straight with FTE resonator, 8" Prius Repellent Tip
-Mishimoto stock replacement trans cooler
- Billet Timing cover, Tappet cover
-Fleece coolant bypass

-Dual cat 2 micron fuel filters with Baldwin water separator and 100 mesh screen
I'm driving up from Los Angeles area to Power Driven Diesel in Utah as soon as they are ready to install the tranny. I'll have them install the coolant bypass at that time because the tranny will be out. They are going to get rid of the plastic cooler line clips as well.
When that is completed I'll pull the head off and get started!
I'll make periodic updates. Should be fun!
Added the BD intercooler to the list. Should be here in a few days. Replacing the condenser as well since it's messed up a little.

Hope you document this build, it is difficult with so much to do.
Sounds like a nice build. I agree with the BD intercooler. Been running one for years and it frequently sees 85-90psi.
That's it. I need the faster spool for the occasional towing I do.
Making some progress. Got the 215 maxed and balanced pump painted and the dual feed hooked up. Flows 550cc. Did the bushing mod on the throttle and replaced the ball and socket hardware. 7mm DV's
Turbo housings painted.
Oil cooler arrived and thinking of a bracket.
Engine mounts replaced.
Oil pre-luber installed
Installed Mean Green starter.
Built relay box.
Machined head for Top hat seals.
Machined off built in filter iron inside intake manifold.
Valves lapped in.
165# springs with tool steel retainers and collets installed.
5x14 vco injectors installed.
Pump Installed. 20* timing.
Updated oil pump.
Drilled and installed Cam retainer.
