Door Buzzer Disconnect

Well i finally had it with the door buzzer coming on whenever I had the door open and the key in to listen to music. I really wanted to keep the headlight reminder function working so I found and disconnected just the door alarm part of the buzzer. Took a good bit of searching to find about it so I thought I would share what I figured out with everyone.

When you use that method doesn't it also disable the light around the key hole (halo)?

No, you are only disconnecting the buzzer wire that gets grounded when the key is in the ignition. The rest of the wires running into that plug are still connected so everything but the buzzer with the key in works.
