Everyone I know is really tied up right now and not taking on anything extra. Wish I had better news. Have you tried talking to Rip or Bill at source?

I don’t know who they are. (Edit - tracked them down in Clackamas and called/left message)
i am traveling and am in Lincoln city right now, I have my 5er with me so other than having to move it and put it i a RV park while the truck is getting fixed I can manage.

I am at the moment looking at using Peterson’s
https://www.petersontrucks.com/welcome
They are auth Cummins and seemingly are a medium and heavy duty truck place (also sell international), so I am hopimg they will be good.

That said, If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks!

Another recommendation for Source. Cummins Steering, Dodge Cummins for Sale, Source Automotive The finest shop in the NW, IMO.

Unless you get lucky and find another independently verified reputable diesel mechanic in Lincoln City, I would say it would be worth your time to wait to talk to the guys at Source in Clackamas... They are less then 2 hours away from you and you can be assured that they will do you and your truck right.

Thanks to all,
My truck is now at source, it is a blown head gasket, going to add the ARP 425s to the repair.

Freakin’ trucks ...

I do appreciate all the input.
I actually had it at another shop but the knuckleheads said they can’t do the work.

At any rate, it is at Source now and feeling better about the whole thing.

Thanks again for the heads up!
