Need help. Allison versus 47rh flywheel

I'm changing from a Allison 545 from a bus to a 47rh. the 47rh flywheel wont fit over the crank snout. The diameter of the Allisons is 2.75 inches. The 47rh is 1 7/8. So, what now? I can give scenarios, but yall know a lot more than me. I'm in a time crunch, so I appreciate all advise. If one of you is out and about and has the time to talk, 580-235-2389. thanks.

Is that the crank snout or the adaptor the Allison flex plate uses?
Cheers Steve
