ya can squeeze a 12 valve into some surprising places "ONE OF WON customs" does some really nice conversions here are his Dodge charger and a Caddy
the link 9297 provided is a 4BT into a 94 burb, my 96 burb is pretty tight especially under the front part of the hood but its only got an LS3 transplanted into it so I was staying with the small block theme (and yea its got the 4l80 auto (USA built 1500 had 4l80 Canadian built ones got the 4l60) my biggest challenge with the LS3 going into it was the hood angle as it severally restricted the intake I could use a 6BT that 38" tall engine even the 454 which is a relly tight squeeze in the 93 body style is 33" tall the hood height will be the biggest challenge as the hood angle is so tight at the front, if its a 4x4 then it becomes a real issue with the oil pan and the front IFS ya could put a lift on it and try to get that IFS assembly down some..
That 4bt is in the 4bt Conversion Section there are some in the 6bt section also. Pretty sure the Pickups and Suburban are the same body and I know there are Pickup's with them.
