Rebuilt Steering Gearbox Recommendation?

For a 93 W250, Cummins, auto trans.

Saw a new drip under the front. Found the steering gearbox housing is cracked.

Genos does not have have them. Rock Auto, Advance Auto and others sell Cardone and some other brands of rebuilt units.

Is there enough experience out there to recommend one brand over the other?

Thanks

Jim

BlueTop is about $80 cheaper than RedHead. I just put a BT on my 98 and would do it again

I have been running a cheap reman unit I got off E-bay for close to 10 years now. Only issue I have had with it was the input seal started leaking about 3-4 years ago, installed a new seal and been performing flawlessly since.

I just installed bluetop but haven't even put oil in it yet. Hoping to get that done today after server updates at work.

A non-leaking box off a 2wd gas truck works just like new.

Exactly....My box was originally bought for my crewcab when it was 2wd, then after converting to 4wd it just continued it's service in the new capacity....as mentioned been working great this whole time.
