1st gen accessories

Iím new to the 1st gen Cummins world. I just bought a 93í club cab. Can anyone point me in direction of the leading accessory sites? Not necessarily performance wise (those are plentiful), but interior/exterior parts? Iíd like an aluminum louver tailgate and possibly a windshield visor for the roof. These things may not even be available anymore. Some replacement carpet would be nice also. I am aware of lmctruck, but donít care for them.

The aluminum tailgate is pretty much obsolete. You have to find a decent one at a swap meet or on eBay. Thereís a person on Instagram, @179garage, who makes replicas out of new materials. They are as legit and close to the real thing that your gonna find. Trust me Iíve looked high and low. The cool part is he can color customize it if you want.

The visor thing is called a lund. You can find those on eBay. I think thereís one on the auction block as we speak for close to $200. If not eBay itíll be another swap meet item.

You will not find any OEM grilles or interior parts on any website or catalog either. Happy hunting!

Thereís a good carpet site available on the forum. Something along the lines of stock interiors. Google them. If Iím not mistaking itís as close as your going to get to original.

Thanks for the quick replies. I just completed an 86í Chevrolet S-10 build and the parts for that thing were everywhere. This doesnít look like the case for the W250.

Not at all. Iíve had to buy entire gas trucks to get parts.

Call Auto Custom Carpets in Florida for your carpet. They are the manufacturer.

Also watch your stuff at LMC. Have found most of their products to be sub standard quality. Wasnt able to use anything of my last two orders.

That combined with their lack of customer service makes me steer clear of them when possible.

Anyone bought a soft bed cover for one of these trucks?

Edit: just noticed the restoration thread in the stickies.

Genos Garage has proven to be a good option for me to buy a few things first gen related and the customer service has been great.
