Exclamation Truck shutoff

My 1992 w250 cummins shuts off when i press the brake in drive or reverse.I go and push the brake and it shakes then shuts off.Everything i looked up says fss but i wanted you guys input.How do i fix this??!!

Check the terminals at the FSS to make sure they are tight, if they are tight then you probably have a wire going to ground for the FSS. If I remember it's a blue wire that's the key on power for the FSS.

Hard braking or just pushing the peddle? Will it do it while stationary?
If checking the FSS wiring does not show anything, disconnect the brake light switch and see if it still cuts out.

hard braking,like coming to a complete stop.especially while on a hill.

I'd almost bet on loose connection at the FSS.
