Tie rod ends

I have a 91 non-ic w250 single cab long bed 4x4, and Iím replacing most of the front end parts and now Iím onto tie rod ends. I looked on rock auto and found the Moog tie rods for ď3500 lbs drive axleĒ can someone enlighten me on what this means? They also have a ď4500 lbs drive axleĒ. Iím lost.

More than likely the 3500 is the Dana 44 and the other is the Diesel Dana 60 front. Whenever buying parts for the Diesel Dodge you need to be sure it says Diesel.

Went through this recently, most parts house computers will still list Dana 44 parts for the diesel. I ended up bringing my tie rods in and matching them up. I can get list the part numbers for the OP if he is interested

I won't buy anything on line unless I know the part number is right, to much hassle returning the parts and waiting for the right ones.

I got my Moog tie rod ends off of Rock Auto, made in USA. They also had ones listed for $1.78....now that;s a scary thought.

Dana 61

I had a 90 Sno Commander front axle weight listed on door tag was 4000 lb . It was a Dana 61 . 99.99% of the time CTD powered trucks have 4500 lb front axle Dana 60

Once I get my part numbers right I usually get them on amazon or summit. Way cheaper and usually free 2 day shipping. Of course I usually order parts way in advance. So I have them when I actually have time to do it.
