Front springs.

I am getting ready to replace the flattened front springs and shocks on my 93 w250. My question is which ones to buy. I'll probably go with skyjacker soft rides, but not certain on which height. they have 1" , 2.5" and 4" . Not looking for lift, just level. springs are pretty much flat and no idea how much they have sagged and how much lift a 1", or 2.5" set would give me when considering the correction of sag... Anybody have any input on this? Thanks

Depends on if you have 4" rear blocks or 6".

I would go with the 1" springs if you have 4" blocks which I don't think would be level but I think the 2.5" will give you somewhat of a "Cali lean" unless you have 6" blocks.. I have add a leafs in the front that gave me a touch over 2" of lift and stock 3/4 ton springs in the rear with 6" blocks, that leaves me with almost 1 1/2" of positive rake.

Has 6" blocks in the rear. When I measure top of tire to fender, front is 7" and rear is 10".
I just put on new 285/75/16's on new rims and they rub a little on the corner of the fender.. and I want it to sit level anyway.
I need shocks too all around, but I think I can get by with the rear springs that I have for a while. How did it go putting the add-a-leafs in? I like the cost of add a leafs better!

The leafs were to long and I had to cut almost an inch off one end. They did not come with a new tie bolt so I had to pick up a couple of those separately. The actual install took 2 big C clamps to get the pack together and the tie bolt in. All and all pretty straight forward. It will ride rougher with add a leafs.
