Where/how to tap in for gauge lights?

Hey all,

Sorry if this has been gone over before, but i couldn't find a thread that answered my question.

I'm installing isspro boost and pyro gauges. the pyro will be easy, all it needs is 12v when key is on, i will buy one of those blade fuse add-on plugs and find a good spot.

However, i want to hook the boost gauge light to the dimmer switch integral to the headlight switch. i could cause a bunch of trouble and figure it out myself, but does anyone know how to easily access the switch and which wire goes to the gauge lights in the dash? I read about using the ashtray light, but i don't have one!

thanks,

conrad

Easiest way is to tap the fuse in the fuse box for the dash lights.

Any of the 20gauge solid orange wires in the cab are a light source.
