89 cummins build

figured i would start a little build thread of some of the things i am doing to my truck. i am the second owner of her and the first was my grandad so it has always been in the family. ok so its a 1989 dodge w250 4x4 auto that barely does sixty.. im not sponsered by mommy and daddy and im only 17. so it might be a little slow. i dont know how to upload pics but i have taken all the trim off and plan on rino-linning the bottom to cover up the rust. i took the visor off the roof and patched the screw holes. re-sealed the drip rail im so happy there is no roof rust! took off the camper top, i kinda like it so i might keep it and repaint it. installed a cold air intake and got rid of the stock airbox. next im going to do kdp, and save up for a exhaust system. all feed back is welcome! thanks for looking!

Okay, so I'm pretty excited that some of the younger guys are in the 1st gen biz, but FIX THE KDP ASAP. I don't know how many miles is on the truck, but it's always a good safety measure or you -might- have to do a rebuild that will cost you thousands. As far as rust, I suggest if your going to tackle it at all, do it right, if you live up north, I would suggest putting a temporary rhinolining and cover up the areas most prone to rust and take it off during months where salt is not necessary.
As far as pics, one of the other guys can help you out with that, I'm sure - I'm not good with the interwebz.

Nice. What did you seal the screw holes with?

And camper tops can be quite useful but Im not a big fan of the look
