Falken Wildpeak AT3W ?

Im really ready to pull the trigger on these as Im not real impressed with the Toyo Open Country AT2s I have on there. 15,000 miles and the tread is so shallow, on wet or slick roads they are slippery as hell. My son has the Wildpeaks on his Tacoma and they have been AWESOME, off-road, on road and all the bad winter roads we had this winter. Just not sure how they perform on our heavier trucks. Would love to hear from anyone running them.

I have them, but roughly over 1,000 miles on them. I will say for the short time so far with wet and dry road ways are good. I think they are a good bang for the buck like Yokohamas A/T a few years back raved about in all conditions. Especially off road crowd.

I was in your shoes. I swapped these for AT2s. Been great in ice snow rain of montana, scorching arizona heat. deserts of san diego and barstow. they have been good to me. price was awesome. They even handle the curvy mountain roads well. they are wearing great. 12k in and they look like they'll last 50k..

I put a set on in 37x12.50r20. Promptly drove up to ski. Wet, snowy roads. Handling was superb. Quieter than any MT tire, as expected. These are my winter tires now. You will like them.

Iím going stock size 275/70/18, Iíve already experimented with a pair of 295/70/18 Toyo AT2 Extremes and they sucked the life out of my truck, not to mention I lost 2 mpg on average.

The stock tires look ridiculous on these big trucks but they do deliver fuel economy.
These are coming out in August. Looking real tough and well made.

I agree about the looks, but Itís not just fuel economy itís performance. The 3.42ís are not conducive to the bigger heavier tires unless all one cares about is filling the wheel well with more rubber. Way more rolling resistance, lots more transmission downshifting, and sluggish acceleration, I couldnít even coast on downhill grades!

Yep. I don't know how Dodge settled on a 3.42 axle ratio for an HD truck.
