20x8.5 +12mm tire fitment

I have searched high and low, but havenít found the answers that are close to my setup. I have a set of 20x8.5 with 12mm offset. I would like to do a 35x12.50 because of the greater options for tires, but I donít really want to level my truck. Would I be better off with a 295/60? Or will a 35x12.50 fit without any issues?

Thanks for any answers in advance.

They will fit, Iím running 35x13 with minimal rub, if they were 12.5 they would clear.

18Ē but size donít matter. Itís all about offset. The sweet spot is +18 but being +12 isnít going to make much difference.

Yeah, I worded that badly. By size I meant specs lol. According to the offset charts I've looked at a +12 8.5" rim is about the same as a +6 9" rim

IDK about the rub but I will say this as far as leveling. I just went to a +10 offset with some 285 coopers(which is irrelevant here) and with any increase in width, diameter or stickout, the rake of the truck in stock form is waaaay more evident. You will prolly want to level after the upgrade anyway just for cosmetics.

Never thought of that, but I can see where you have a very valid point.

I'll get Them mounted up, and if the rake is too much I'll throw a small level on it. I pull trailer quite often, and don't want my truck to look like it's doing a wheelie with a load on it. Loaded heavy before it would sit pretty level, I'm afraid with a leveling kit it will look like it's "sagging"

I totally get it. I am going to do the same at some point for the same reasons. The tires I run are approx 33" and I love them but that difference in height from front to back is much more noticeable.

Very satisfied with my new setup. They only rubbed on the inner fender, but the zip ties did the trick. Running 35x12.50x20 Firestone MT2
