Possible Blown Motor at 15k?

Ok i have a 2012 RAM 3500 SLT Auto DRW CC 4x4 with 15k on it that i bought new with 100 miles on it and immediatly unplugged the EGR valves.

GDP EGR/Cooler Deletes
4 inch turbo back Flo-Pro Straight
S&B Cold Air with Dry Filter
GDP CCV Vent Kit
Sinister Diesel Coolant Filter Kit
H&S Mini Maxx set on TOW
Serviced every 5k miles myself with Mopar filters and Rotella 15W-40 and 1 quort if Lucas Oil Stabilizer

All the above was done on the truck at 2,000 miles.

Filled up in town with diesel at a place i do not like getting diesel but was only place open. I was driving the truck down the interstate with cruise set at 70mph only 40 miles from town. Cruising along and started feeling a sharp hard jerk or cut out feeling from motor a few times, thaught maybe filter was plugged so i increased the trottle to clear up then planned on stopping at next store to check or change filter as i always carry an extra. Problem cleared up for 2 to 3 miles then re-accured. So decided to pull over right then to check it out, as i was slowing down it started doing it faster and faster and harder as i slowed down then it started to knock extremly loud as i came to a stop and shaking the truck, quickly turn the ignition off and banged my head against the steering wheel over and over.....

After i calmed down i got out and checked things, no oil leaks, no oil smell from tailpipe, no fuel leaks, and nothing out of the ordinary. I did not check either the fuel or oil filter yet as i did not have the tools like i thaught i did so keep that in mind. Got back in truck and turned key to on position and checked the Mini Maxx for codes, no codes found. So i try starting the motor and after an extra turn over or two it starts, loud knocking continues so does shaking, i check fuel pressure on Mini Maxx and it seems fine, i check oil pressure and its fine, i did notice white smoke from tailpipe though and my idle was 50 rmps lower then normal. All of this lead me to think its and injector and probably y'all also, but then i found this out.

I had a buddy come and bring my flatbed, we loaded up the truck which i did drive it up on it and its a 32ft dove tail goosneck and had to put truck in 4x4 low and get a run at it to load it on trailer from loss of power. Took it to my local Dodge Dealer and told the service guy my situation of being deleted and trying to keep it off the national data system, he understood and brought his diesel tech out to look at the truck. Began first by hooking up their hand held computer to the truck to check for codes, no codes show up. Next try starting it, has same symptoms as before. Next they bypass a wire harness or two and dry start it to hear it turn over, you can hear a flat spot or a sound that isn't normal. Which leads me to think it's internal and not an injector. But their was no blow by or water in the oil (checked from oil fill cap). They recomended letting them looking at it after i put all the stock components back on and then they would try their best to get it warrentied as they understood my situation and were also amazed that it did this at 15k miles.

I will check oil and fuel filters tomorrow while i put the stock parts back on and let you know what i find there, shavings exct...

What is ya'lls opinion on this??

Thank you in advance for any input and sorry for long thread. Just trying to be detailed to help answer any questions.

You didn't put gas instead of diesel did you? It happens.
On the other hand you don't usually get 40mi on gas before it throws a fit.
Sound like a fuel issue to me.

And i'm leaning towards fuel issue aswell and also hoping for that because an injector is WAY cheaper than an intire motor!

Id get all the fuel out of the tank, put new in, run enough to clear the lines out, change the filter, and see how it does. Sounds like bad fuel

Ive heard of cases that sound similar to your explanation and it was bad fuel.

I doubt its internal. I mean anything can happen especially if you got luck like me but seriously i really dont see that being the problem. Id bet money its a fuel issue. Where did you get your fuel? From a backwoods place or where fuel is constantly being used like a truck stop etc...?

It was at a store in the middle of town but their pumps always pump slow which means they never change their filters....

10-4. When you get the fuel drained and filters changed let us know the outcome. Id do this before you put the emissions stuff back on to take back to the dealer to save you the hassle cause this is probably your problem
