I can't wait for warmer weather. Do you still have the truck in your sig? What do you have done to your fourth gen

Coolant temp.

Truck in sig is gone (traded in) I just picked up my new one last night. I plan on leaving it stock for a while and concentrate on building a single can drag truck or getting an 00-02 camaro and make it pop wheelies.

my thermostat opens at 210*f, then once it opens drops to 199*f, then fluctuates from 199-204*f while driving depending on how much i get on it.... been keeping an eye on my temps since i got this truck, very tempted to go to a cooler thermostat since im deleted.

Hiya,

Mine runs right around 205. I asked this question before and nobody answered it... Why go to a lower overall temp? How does it affect regens?

Hey,

I was wondering about the temp too. My truck with all deletes runs around 199-203. If your still running regen, I would say that a lower temp wouldn’t let the regen work correctly. Causing it to clog up. I’m not a mechanic at all so don’t quote me. from what i heard 199-205 is normal temp.
