For the 68RFE automatic, the base amount is about 7-1/2 quarts for a pan drop and refill. However, if you let it drain for several hours (or overnight), the fluid in the converter will SLOWLY drain out also (especially if you leave the filters off). You can get up to another gallon from the converter, so depending on drain time you're looking at 7-1/2 to 11-1/2 quarts.
