68.......

2011 3500 dually with 240k on the odo. Just deleted with a smarty ME tune (for racing of course) just a simple set up. Hopped on it today to show the pops powerstroke what’s up and it didn’t wanna come out of first. It went into 2nd when I let off but it kinda made ny heart jump up to my throat real quick because I had plenty of trans problems in my 03 cummins and then had an 02 6 speed so I’m a little insecure getting back into another auto. Anyone know what’s up! Did research and couldn’t find the same situation maybe I’m not looking hard enough.

Yeah it runs and drives just fine, no cel, no codes even. Just doesn’t like to shift on WOT.

Your right foot at WOT is causing it.
That trans by the look of the mileage is no spring chicken either. Stock to boot. Donít compare the 68 to your dads, thatís for sure.

Ah. Now Iím following.

Whatís specifically going on in your transmission is what youíre wondering. Which specific Ďlinkí along the chain is failing.

Thatís going to be difficult to answer. It could be any of the many dozens of pieces inside or it could be programming. Itís going to be hard to give you the exact answer you seek without some actual concrete data (plugging into your truck and having you replicate the issue again and again, which I doubt youíll want to do..)
